Beta Testers Needed

So now that I’ve finally gotten Closet to a state where I can call it a beta I’m looking for a handful of people to help me test the app for bugs, usability issues, and general comments or concerns.

If you’re interested in helping me out and being one of the first to use the application email me at beta@statik.ca with your name, device type, and device ID which you can find in iTunes or Xcode.

*Update:
I’ve come across a great iPhone/iPod Touch application by Erica Sadun called Ad Hoc Helper which will make this process dead simple for you. Just install the app here and run it. All it will do is open up Mail on your device, and pre-populate the body with your devices’ ID. Just insert beta@statik.ca in the To: field and hit send.

Locating a Unique Device ID with iTunes 7.7 or later:
Alternatively, you can also find out your device’s UDID using iTunes 7.7. or later. To do this, connect your device to your computer and launch iTunes. In iTunes, select your device in the ‘Devices’ section and navigate to the Summary tab. Click on the Serial Number label to reveal the Identifier field and the 40 character UDID. Press Command+C (Control+C in Windows) to copy the UDID to your clipboard then paste it with your name in the email.  I’ll then reply back in the near future with instructions on how to install the app on your device.
